Professional, friendly music teachers who come to you. Perfect for beginners, kids, and busy families.
We bring piano lessons directly to your home, creating a comfortable and familiar learning environment for every student. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s pace, goals, and learning style, whether they’re just starting out or building on existing skills. By removing the stress of travel and our experienced teachers customizing every session, we help students stay consistent, confident, and excited to learn.
Our recitals are designed to be encouraging, not intimidating. Students have the opportunity to perform in a relaxed, supportive setting where the focus is on growth and confidence, not perfection. Whether it’s a first performance or a returning student, we celebrate progress and make the experience something they can feel proud of.
Our week-long summer camp is a fun and engaging way for students to stay connected to music while school is out. Through group activities, games, and collaborative learning, students build skills, make friends, and explore music in a more relaxed setting. It’s the perfect balance of learning and fun that keeps momentum going year-round.

Our Story
At Piano Primo, we believe we can make music education personal, accessible, and confidence-building for every student.
I grew up on the island of O‘ahu, where my love for music began with piano and ʻukulele. Some of my earliest memories are of going to my music teacher’s, Mr. Ernest Chang, studio for lessons; walking in a little nervous, then leaving each time feeling more confident and excited to play.
Those experiences shaped not just my love for music, but how I think about teaching. The environment mattered. The relationship mattered. And most of all, how a student felt during and after a lesson mattered.
After moving to Washington to attend the University of Washington, I knew I wanted to carry that same feeling forward. Coming from a family of educators, teaching was always part of my path, but I wanted to make it more accessible and more comfortable for today’s busy families.
That’s how Piano Primo began.
By bringing lessons directly into students’ homes, we recreate that sense of familiarity and confidence from the very first lesson without the stress of travel. What started as a personal venture has grown into a team of teachers who share the same goal: helping students build confidence, enjoy the process, and develop a lifelong love of music.
